Aglaja ocelligera (Bergh, 1893)
The body is dark brownish black with yellow, white or bluish spots.On each side of the head shiel there is a prominent whitish transverse streak. It is commonly found burrowing in muddy sand.The spotted aglaja preys on the bubble snail Haminoea vesicula. The Spotted Aglaja sucks in it's prey whole (lacking a radula or rasping tongue).
