Marianina rosea (Pruvot-Fol, 1930)
This small seaslug ( seldom more than 1 cm in length.) can be found under dead coralr on reef flats. A purple body with a row of bifid white cerata down each side of the mantle are characteristic of the species.
Marianina rosea feeds exclusively on hydrozoon polyps.
