Rhyssoplax canariensis (A. d'Orbigny, 1840)

The Canary chiton snail has a slightly elongated, oval shape with eight transverse dorsal plates surrounded by a girdle. The coloration of the chiton snail is variable.

However, the Canary beetle snail is rarely seen, observers report sightings during night dives.
