Gastrolepidia clavigera Schmarda, 1861

This scale worm host of sea cucumbers. Often seen with this host seacucumber Bohadschia argus and Bohadschia subrubra. Colour variable with marginal bumps. The colour pattern of the worm mimics their sea cucumber host.

This scale worm has at least 21 pairs of large soft scales and their underside has large lamellae at the base of each parapodium.
