Info
Phyllidia rueppelii (Bergh, 1869)
The warty snail has orange-yellow rhinophores. The middle of the mantle is black with large white spots with large yellow warts in the middle. Open white semicircles can be clearly seen towards the edge of the mantle. The edge of the mantle is yellow.
Rüppell's Warty Slug differs from other warty snails because the anus is located on the posterior underside of the mantle. She also usually doesn't have that many orange warts. The lighter bases are less likely to coalesce into bands.
