Info

Lamellaria ophione Gray, 1850

Lamellaria is a species of small, slug-like sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Velutinidae.

Tunicate mimic Lamellaria (undescribed species) come in various colors that may all be forms of the same species. The markings on their bodies closely resemble the colonial tunicates upon which they feed.
