Info

Called the ghost shrimp or skeleton shrimp, Pseudaeginella carinaspinosa were collected by SCUBA diving from algae such as Ecklonia sp. and Sargassum sp. in the shallow waters of Geomun Island, Namhyeongje Island, and Jeju Island off the southern coast of Korea.

Similar species: Pseudaeginella biscaynensis (McCain, 1968) and Pseudaeginella montoucheti (Quitete, 1971).

Biological information on the species is not available, ghost crabs belong to the zooplankton and have an important role in the food chain.
