Characters: Colonies are massive and cerioid to submeandroid with thin, acute walls. Valleys are irregular in length in the same colony. Septa are thin and highly granulated. They converge and may fuse except where valleys are straight. Columellae are well developed. Polyps are fleshy.

Colour: Uniform brown or red, with pale tops to walls.

Habitat: Shallow reef environments.

Abundance: Uncommon.
