Husbandry

Apterygocampus epinnulatus, Weber, 1913

Apterygocampus epinnulatus, also called Tiny pipefish, are found in the Central Western Pacific, Indonesia, the Philippines to Papua New Guinea, in mudflats and not to deep lagoons up to 10 m depth, mostly between soft corals of the family Briareum or in sparse seagrass beds.

The Tiny pipefish is Ovoviviparous. These animals produce eggs, but instead of laying the eggs, the eggs develop within the mother's body.
