Solanderia secunda (Inaba, 1892)

Solanderia secunda , a sea fan hydroid,uncommon on ceiling of caverns and ledges at scuba depths. Attains 3 inches. Hawaiii & the Indo-Pacific. Formerly known as Solanderia misakiensis.

A symbiotic association between Solanderia secunda and the mimic scale-worm Medioantenna variopinta sp.was known from Indonesia.
