Aglaophenia octodonta Heller, 1868

Aglaophenia is a genus of hydroids in the family Aglaopheniidae.Aglaophenia octodonta lives in shallow water in coastal areas up to 10 m depth. The colour of the small, unbranched hydroid is yellowish to brownish. This colonial Hydrozoa often occur en masse on rocks, sponges and algae.
