Melibe digitata Gosliner & V. G. Smith, 2003

This species is only known from the Philippines.The body colour is a translucent brown or greenish-brown. The darker brown cerata looks like brown algae.Melibe digitata have probably zooxanthellae.

Species of the genus Melibe have a large expandable oral hood which is fringed with sensory tentacles and used to catch small crustacea. The diet of Melibe digidata is not exactly known.
