Info

Trimma zurae Winterbotton, Erdmann & Dita Cahyani, 2014

Trimma zurae is no slouch either.
It's covered in bright orange pokka-dots with a black false eyespot (bordered in light blue) on its first dorsal fin. The rest of its fins are laced with sublime rainbow hues.

Collected specimens were sheltering beneath the large barrel sponges that dominated the reefscape

Jumping guard
A jumping guard prevents (nocturnal) fish from jumping out.
Wrasses, blennies, hawkfishs and gobies jump out of an unprotected tank in fright if their night rest is disturbed, unfortunately these jumpers are found dried up in the morning on carpets, glass edges or later behind the tank.

A small night light also helps, as it provides the fish with a means of orientation in the dark!
