Jason mirabilis M. C. Miller, 1974

Jason mirabilis can be found throughout New Zealand between depths of 3 - 40 m. This nudibranch feeds exlusively on hydrozoon polyps (Solanderia ramosa).Jason mirabilis incorporates the hydrozoon stinging cells into the cerata.

The body is usually pink, sometimes white-pink or white.
