Info

Protaeolidiella atra Baba, 1955

Protaeolidiella atra is well camouflaged on its food, the athecate hydroid Solanderia fusca. The body of this unusually shaped sea slug of the Aeolidiidae is narrow. Protaeolidiella atra is unique in aeolids without zooxanthellae symbiosis.

Similar to Pleurolidia juliae (with white median line on the body).
