The carapace is soft,slightly furry and broader than long.The body colour is crem to yellow.The pinchers white with a pink tint on the tips.
Pseudodromia latens is usually almost completely covered by a ball of sponge or colonial ascidian, only two small pincer are visible.Pseudodromia latens is a scavenger. The Furred sponge crab can be found to 28 m dephts.
