Diadema is a genus of sea urchins of the Family Diadematidae and is one of the most abundant, widespread, and ecologically important shallow water genera of tropical sea urchins

Synonym:
Diadema aff._antillarum Philippi, 1845 (in the meantime this species was formally named)
