Jumping guard
A jumping guard prevents (nocturnal) fish from jumping out.
Wrasses, blennies, hawkfishs and gobies jump out of an unprotected tank in fright if their night rest is disturbed, unfortunately these jumpers are found dried up in the morning on carpets, glass edges or later behind the tank.

A small night light also helps, as it provides the fish with a means of orientation in the dark!

Ich halte ein Paar dieser wunderschönen Lippfischen seit ca. 6 Monaten. Die Fische sind in der Eingewöhnung recht heikel! Das Weibchen musste nach ca. 1 Woche an der Schwimmblase punktiert werden und ich hätte nicht gedacht, das sie es schafft, danach war sie aber wieder fit und schwimmt seither munter im Becken. Nach der Eingewöhnung gab es keinerlei Probleme mehr. Futter wird ohne Probleme angenommen und auch das Zusammenleben mit anderen Lippfischen klappt problemlos. Auf Grund der wirklich heiklen Eingewöhnung jedoch meiner Meinung nach ein Fisch, welcher wirklich nur von erfahrenen Lippfischhaltern gepflegt werden sollte.
