Endemic species!

Adult scalyfins occur inshore in rocky reefs and occasionally coral reefs in western Australia between Cape Leeuwin and Coral Bay in a depth of 1 bis 15 meters.

There are no informations about keepting this fish in tanks, best left it in the wild.
