Very special thanks for the first photo of Pseudanthias charleneae to Dr. Gerry R. Allen and Dr. Mark Erdmann.

This photo has was taken ab Bali, Indonesien, where this anthias lives in a depth of 40 to 56 meters on a steep rubble slope with abundant sea fans and was accompanied by about six smaller females.
