Plectorhinchus chaetodonoides Lacepède, 1801

Plectorhinchus chaetodonoides, the harlequin sweetlips, clown sweetlips, spotted sweetlips or many-spotted sweetlips, is a species of marine ray-finned fish, a sweetlips belonging to the subfamily Plectorhinchinae, one of two subfamilies in the family Haemulidae, the grunts. It is native to the Indo-Pacific region. This species is of minor importance to local commercial fisheries.

Wird leider unglaublich schnell unglaublich groß! Nach meiner Erfahrung leider oft in der Eingewöhnung sehr futter-mäkelig. Aggressionen von anderen bereits eingewöhnte Mitbewohnern verträgt er überhaupt nicht. Eingewöhnung am besten mit viel Geduld und abwechslungsreicher Fütterung in absolut ruhiger Umgebung ist erfolgversprechend. Leider, wie gesagt, dann aber sehr schnell wachsend, wenn einmal futterfest!

Habe die Süsslippe vor ca. 1,5 Jahren nichtsahnend als kleinen Fisch gekauft. Leider hat mein Händler mich damals nicht aufgeklärt wie groß er wird.Mittlerweile ist er auf ca.12-15cm angewachsen.Frisst nur Frostfutter(alle Sorten) sowie Stinte. Trockenfutter rührt er nicht an.Ich weiß nicht wie lange ich ihn noch in meinem 1000l Becken pflegen kann wegen der Größe.Wenn er noch viel wächst muß ich ihn leider abgeben.

Hab mir diesen schönen Fisch vor kurzen gekauft.Obwohl er Artemia u.a. friesst hat er meine Putzergarneele verdrückt.
